In the Common Country Assessment (CCA) for the Kingdom of Lesotho, the UN Country Team attempts to describe and analyze the progress made and the challenges that remain in achieving the many complex goals and targets agreed upon at the UN global conferences. The CCA serves as a basis for advocacy, policy dialogue intervention, all of which feeds directly into the UN Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) for Lesotho. The UNDAF provides a common strategy for the intervention of all the Agencies of the UN System in the country. In short, The CCA/UNDAF process is the heart of UN programming at the country level.
